Dear Young People and Parents of Stewarton Academy,<\/p>\n
The third and final \u201cScience in Stewarton\u201d event of 2023 will be running 1830-2000 on Thursday 30th<\/sup>\u00a0March at the Academy.\u00a0 Once more the Institute of Physics Scotland is looking forward to giving young people and their families in the community a chance to learn about recent developments in science.<\/p>\n The evening will be led by Dr Sophie Renner of the Particle Physics Theory Group at the University of Glasgow.\u00a0 She will give a presentation entitled \u201cThe Lives of Particles\u201d<\/b> which will look at the history of particles, some of which have been around since the dawn of the Universe itself!
