This morning we went out and we looked at similes. We used our sense of smell, hearing and touch to help us find our similes👁👂🤚👃

Today in maths we have been ordering fractions with cubes, fraction cards and fraction walls. Using the fractions walls and fractions cards helped us understand it a bit better and we would use them again.

We were talking about our needs and wants in our rrsa meeting.
Some examples of needs are water, shelter, education, care and identification.
Some examples of wants are chocolate, fancy clothing, games, holiday, pets and tv.

Today we were doing fractions outside. Our goal was to find as many fractions as we could on the school playground we found them in the car park, the goals, the windows, the football pitch and a few more places!😄

We read a book about a boy who lost his smile so a girl made a new magical creature for him to try and make him smile!
We answered questions based on the book and used the find it and prove it strategies to help us get the answers.
We also made art of our own magical creature using 3+ animals like Libby’s snake, bee, lion and cheetah which made us all smile😁✏️

We were throwing a ball and other people were trying to bat it while the other team again tried to get the ball so they could swap teams! And the name of the game is called rounders! We suggest you try it.😁🏅🎾

For literacy today we were identifying the topic, main idea and supporting facts in a text. We had a go at writing our own paragraph and our partner had to identify the topic, main idea and supporting facts 🔍
We all enjoyed it and tried our hardest to make the best paragraph about our selected topic! 😁✏️
