P1/2/3 participated in Miss Evans Creative Minds outdoor art project on Monday. Pupils started by talking about colour and composition whilst discussing and appreciating different artists. After setting up their paint stations outside, pupils prepared drawings and painted what they were able to see. Following that, pupils peer assessed each others work and shared their views on their experience.

What a fabulous Easter fun day we had. Enjoy the clip of some of our highlights.

Fairtrade Bake-Off and Easter Fun Day

Our Fairtrade Committee have organised a Super Sorn Bake Off. Pupils have to create a bake using at least one Fairtrade ingredient and submit a photo of their entry to their class teacher for Monday 29th March and we are looking for the most creative design. Entries will be judged next week.

Our Easter Fun Day will take place on Thursday 1st April. Pupils can participate in activities including an Easter Bonnet Parade (bonnets to be made at home and brought in), Egg Hunt and also design their own Easter egg.

What fun we all had for Red Nose Day 2021. We dressed as superheroes 🦸‍♀️ told jokes 🤣, danced 💃 , designed red noses, created masks and completed a Comic Relief quiz. Super fun had by all whilst raising awareness and money for a great cause.

Parents/carers play an important role in their child’s school experience and in order for us to ensure that our delivery of not only high quality learning experiences in class for pupils is of excellent standard, it is also important for us to understand and support the needs parents/carers may have when supporting their child at home.

Your thoughts and opinions are very valuable to us and we appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey about reading. The survey has been split into three sections: your views on reading, your views on reading with your child and your views on the school’s reading provision.

We were delighted to receive our Bronze Rights Respecting School Award through the post today. it is now displayed in our school reception area.

 

We are delighted to welcome our P1/2/3 class back to school today.

The children have been enjoying ‘Disco Dough’ and playing in the sunshine with their friends at playtime.
