P1/2/3 Wellbeing Walk
We enjoyed our wellbeing walk on Wednesday, taking in the scenery and getting some fresh air! 😀
Charlie said “I enjoy walking because I like seeing the colours and listening to the birds chirping”.
P1/2/3 – Punctuation Marking People
Primary 1/2/3 were busy this morning working on their stories using the story maps they created last week for ‘The Three Little Pigs’. They peer assessed each other’s work using the ‘Punctuation Marking People’ technique and gave feedback on their partner’s work. Great work guys 😀
P1/2/3’s New Arrivals 🐛
We had some new arrivals join us in class today in P1/2/3! Say hello to our new class caterpillars 🐛 We can’t wait to watch them grow into beautiful butterflies 🦋

In class, we are currently learning about Money during numeracy time. For this week’s homework I would like you to practise what we’ve been learning in class through the Toy shop money game and coins game both linked below.
Primary 1 – You should practise paying for items up to £2 using the exact coins and giving change from 10p.
Primary 2- You should practise giving change from 20p (you must select “mixed coins” for this option).
Primary 3 – You should practise giving change from 50p.
P1/2/3 – Literacy time 📚
Primary 1/2/3 have been very independent in their learning using the task board for literacy activities. Take a look at them in action consolidating their learning in spelling and phonics through a range of activities 😁

We had a FANTASTIC morning in P1/2/3 today during writing time. We were looking at story maps and drawing stories using a very familiar fairytale… the three little pigs! 🐷🐷🐷
We listened to the story first while Miss Evans drew it. We then had a go at re-telling the story using just the pictures then created our own picture story maps. We presented to the rest of the class using our story maps. Super work everyone 😁✏️
P1/2/3 – Making connections with money
Primary 1 and 2 were making connections today during numeracy time. They were exploring different ways to make certain amounts using the numicon and then matched their coins up with each calculation!
