The Tiger who came to Tea πŸ…

We have been super busy this week in Primary 1-4 for Maths week!

Today we explored β€œmaths through stories” πŸ“š

We read β€œThe Tiger who came to Tea” and explored different numeracy concepts through activities in relation to the story. πŸ…

We looked at sorting and different ways we could sort the foods the Tiger ate into groups. One group sorted them by β€œhealthy and unhealthy” while others looked at β€œfood, drink and others”. Amazing work everyone!! πŸ₯ͺπŸŽ‚

We also explored measure and used different containers to measure which ones held more or less. πŸ₯›πŸΆ

We identified the food and drinks the tiger ate and drank in the story and put them in order.

We role played at the shop and worked out how to pay for different food and drink items using coins and notes. Β πŸ₯¬πŸͺπŸ§ƒπŸͺ™πŸ’·

Lots of fantastic learning going on here. Super work Primary 1-4 πŸ˜πŸ˜†

Super sorting!

P1234 headed outdoors yesterday to explore the concept of sorting objects into groups.

We decided to collect different types of leaves and discussed the ways in which we could sort them such as by size, colour and shape. In the end, we agreed to sort them by colour πŸ”΄πŸŸ‘πŸŸ’

Great work guys!! 😁
