P1/2/3 – active literacy
Primary 1/2/3 have been revising the phonemes they have learned so far and using their βhigh 5β hand strategy to help with word building. Super work guys π
Primary 1 have been busy learning 2 new phonemes this week – βquβ and βshβ and have been practising making different words with these phonemes.

Primary 1 have been busy this week consolidating their knowledge of their sounds and number bonds. They have been loving exploring their learning in different ways using the resources such as the numicon, 10 trains and play dough. Amazing work everyone π
The arrival of Elvis in P1/2/3
There was a new face in Primary 1/2/3 this morning…Elvis the elf! He will be watching over the children and reporting back to the North Pole every single night! Keep an eye out for all his adventures…
P1/2/3 Class Charter
Primary 1/2/3 have been settling into new routines and ways of working with Miss Weir. As part of this, they created a new class charter, with focus on things they felt were most important. A few include, being kind to each other, helping each other, trying our best and keeping safe. We put this together in the form of a rainbow, which was very fitting in the current climate π
St Andrews Day in P1/2/3
Today, Primary 1/2/3 learned all about St Andrews Day and celebrated by making their own Scottish flags. They read a Scottish story and enjoyed listening to some Scots language!
