This year\u2019s theme is Let\u2019s Connect.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW136503736 BCX0\">Our free resources for <strong><a title=\"Primary Age Activities\" href=\"https:\/\/www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk\/schools\/primary-age-activities\/\">primary age<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a title=\"Secondary Age Activities\" href=\"https:\/\/www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk\/schools\/secondary-age-activities\/\">secondary age<\/a><\/strong> children and young people will help you take part in the week. Activities in our resources are designed to encourage children (and adults) to consider how we can make meaningful connections that support our mental health.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s theme for Children&#8217;s Mental Health Week will encourage children (and adults) to look at how we can make meaningful connections.<\/p>\n<p>Human beings thrive in communities, and this connection is vital for our wellbeing, and our survival. When we have healthy connections \u2013 to family, friends and others \u2013 this can support our mental health and our sense of wellbeing. <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW236548663 BCX0\">And when our need for rewarding social connections is not met, we can sometimes feel isolated and lonely \u2013 which can have a negative impact on our mental health.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Let&#8217;s Connect<\/strong> is about making meaningful connections for all, during Children&#8217;s Mental Health Week &#8211; and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>For Children\u2019s Mental Health Week 2023, we\u2019re encouraging people to connect with others in healthy, rewarding, and meaningful ways.
