Additionally, there is information on alcohol, drugs and smoking together with guidance on how to support children and young people as well as links to a variety of external organisations who can provide further guidance.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>National Supports for Staff <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Place2be are offering fully funded group supervision sessions for staff working in schools as part of their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.place2be.org.uk\/place2think\">Place2think programme,<\/a> which is supported by Education Scotland.\u00a0\u00a0Guided\u00a0by Place2Be clinicians, groups of 6-8 peers meet monthly to share experiences\u00a0of mental health in the school community.\u00a0These sessions offer a chance\u00a0to\u00a0download and recharge in a safe environment, giving renewed energy for the challenges of\u00a0your role.<\/p>\n<p>You\u00a0will\u00a0have the opportunity to\u00a0learn about mental health,\u00a0build your network and\u00a0make space to support your mental health, and that of your school, during this\u00a0exceptionally challenging time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The programme helps with: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting anxiety<\/li>\n<li>Issues in the playground or classroom<\/li>\n<li>Building resilient relationships with children and young people<\/li>\n<li>Reflecting on our emotional responses to children and young people<\/li>\n<li>Practising self-care, managing stress<\/li>\n<li>Devising a whole-school approach to mental health<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mentallyhealthyschools.org.uk\/whole-school-approach\/supporting-staff-wellbeing\/\">Mentally Healthy Schools<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This website provides fantastic guidance for senior leaders in schools to use when supporting staff wellbeing as well as resources and links to support for staff to use themselves.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cypmh.co.uk\">Children and Young People&#8217;s Mental health and Wellbeing<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mentalhealth.org.uk\/\">The Mental Health Foundation\u00a0Scotland<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/digitalbrickslearning.com\/\">Digital Bricks Learning<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.childrenshealthscotland.org\/\">Children\u2019s Health Scotland<\/a>\u00a0have created a\u00a0Professional Learning Resource\u00a0for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.scot\/\">Scottish Government<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Mental Health and Wellbeing.
