Last Day of Term!

What an amazing year we have had.  Mrs McCaig and I have had the best year with the most wonderful group of pupils ever! We can’t wait to hear how you all get on at the academy because we know that each and every one of you will absolutely smash it!

Have the best Summer ever and good luck at the RBA.

Week Ending 20.06.25

On Wednesday we had our leavers assembly and prize giving.

We had an amazing treat for  lunch. We had enough money left over from our enterprise so we had a  Cotton trail and it was absolutely delicious.

Ayrbank got the house reward party and they are off to the games hall to PARTY!!

Week Ending 13.06.25

We have had an incredibly busy week in P7.  Between Health Week activities and the RBA transition days, the children have had an action packed few days.

Today, they saved the best Health Week activities for last… The Laser Tag and the Silent Disco.  Check out the photos below.

Week Ending 16.05.25

It’s been a super busy week in P7.  The majority of the children completed their Big Talks and all did a fantastic job.

In Maths, we have continued to work on Percentages and have been looking at calculating the percentage of an amount.

In Music, we have continued our ukulele lessons and this week we learned about Tempo and learned to play a song called ‘Sur le Pont d’Avignon’ using the C and F chords.

Week ending 09.05.25

Eventhough we’ve had a wee short week, we have still managed to pack in lots of hard work! The children have continued with their Fractions, Decimals and Percentages topic and are able to do equivalences between the three.

We were learning about embedded clauses in Grammar and we finished our letters to Mrs Anderson from the RBA so that she can learn all about us.

Here are some photos of us enjoying a game of rounders in the sunshine 🌞

Weekly round up 25.4.25

We have had great fun this week with our class game of ‘The Traitors’.  So far, Skye, Darryl B and Jacob have been eliminated by the traitors and Bella, Ayden and Daryl H have been suspected of being traitors and were banished at the round table. It turns out all three of them were actually faithfuls! We can’t wait to continue the game next week.

In writing this week, we planned out a letter to send to Mrs Anderson at the RBA,  to tell her all about us.

Happy Easter!

We had great fun decorating our eggs this week for the P7s’ last ever Easter Egg competition.  As usual, they came up some some amazingly creative ideas.

Well done to Jacob who won for his Black Cat 🐈‍⬛️

We made the most of the sunshine and took our PE session outside this week for an epic game of rounders.

We hope you all have a wonderful Easter break!
