Class update 6th May 2022

Primary 7 have been very busy since our return from the Easter break. We have moved back  in to our lovely new renovated classroom and have settled in well.

Pupils have been reading the novel ‘Holes’ in literacy. They are enjoying the story so far and I can’t wait to see their responses to the twists and turns!

Within numeracy the class have completed a topic on algebra (letters in maths?! Woah!). It was an interesting topic with some pupils really finding their strength in this area. They are now focusing on all things measure (area, perimeter, volume, weight). Pupils are coping really well so far.

Pupils now have their leavers assembly scripts and should  be practicing their lines at home regularly. Mr Keachie is also extremely happy with pupil progress on their instruments, with regular practice also being encouraged.

Tuesday 10th May – Mrs McBain (pupil support) from Stewarton Academy in to visit pupils.

Wednesday 11th May – Mrs Ward from Stewarton Academy in to visit pupils.

Tuesday 17th May – PE transition workshop in school.

Wednesday 25th May & Thursday 26th May – S1 Transition at Stewarton Academy.
