Wow! What a week it has been in Primary 7. We have completed our China topic and marked this with wonderful presentations from all pupils, as well as a Chopstick challenge afternoon.
I am so immensely proud of every single pupil who came out to present to the class. We had voiced over videos, amazing poster boards and wonderful ICT skills shown through Powerpoint. Pupils spoke confidently and covered a huge range of topics. I was amazed by how much I learned from the projects and appreciate the amount of effort put in by pupils, as well as support given from home.
Please take a look at the photos of the pupils presenting – concentration faces were on!
We rounded off our topic with an afternoon learning to use chopsticks. We trialled picking up small objects before trying to eat egg fried rice with them. We enjoyed tasting the rice, shrimp and prawn crackers. I am so pleased to announce that no rice landed on the floor – quite an achievement!
We also welcomed a new pupil in to our class. John was been warmly welcomed and is settling in well!
