What a busy week!

We continued to learn about looking after our mental wellbeing. We focused on what endorphins are and what we can do to make us feel great! We played as a class and then had a mindful experience in class with music and colouring. We all reported that we felt calm and relaxed at the end of the day.

We also spent some of our week focusing on art. We learned about Pointillism as part of the Pop art movement and are working on a New York Marvel/DC scene for the classroom using pointillism.

Miss McGregor came in to teach us the vocabulary for animals in French and we really enjoyed it!

We spent our literacy time studying the various features of a range of scripts. This involved reading scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean and the Big Bang Theory. We are working towards writing our own scripts that we will act out and show in class at a premiere afternoon.

Friday was Red Nose Day! We had a great time watching the Great Teacher Race and taking part in Splat the Teacher!
