Weekly Round up 26/4/19

We really got stuck in to term 4 this week and everyone worked so hard!

In maths we continued learning about angles. We named angles using 3 letters. identified missing angles in triangles and  used protractors to measure angles. It’s difficult but we are enjoying the challenge!

In literacy we started our critical study of the poem ‘Matilda’, the story of a young girl who tells lies so often that no one believes her!

We enjoyed learning about the Glasgow Mural Trail in art and we recreated some of our favourites.

A few pupils traded in their privilege cards this week. Jacob and Robbi led us through a sports quiz and Josh taught us all about games.

Achievements this week:

HotChocFri – Kodi who attended with Robbi

Group of the week – Ona, Maia, Dylan and Charley

Star of the week – Megan for excellent effort in maths.

iCycle pupils please remember your bikes on Monday 🙂

Have a great weekend!

Well we are back and refreshed after a lovely 2 week break, but only for 4 days! As P6/7 head off on their next long weekend, we look back at our short (but busy) week!

On Monday we started our new maths topic, Angles. We learned the name of 5 key types of angle – see if your child can remember.

On Tuesday we visited Dumfries House where we took part in rock climbing and den building. We had a fantastic day!

On Thursday we visited the Maxwell Church for our Easter service. it was a lovely morning! In the afternoon Theo used his privilege card to lead a 15 minute lesson. He chose to teach descriptive writing and was a fantastic teacher!
