This week we had our last week of swimming and after our lesson we got to have a fun swim, where we got lots of floats and noodles to play with. We also went a walk down by the river and around the Barony Campus.<\/p>\n

In literacy we were learning to write a summary for the chapters we read in Holes<\/em>. In writing we wrote a non-chronological report based on an animal, and we have been continuing to work on our joins when doing our handwriting.<\/p>\n

In numeracy we were learning to multiply by multiples of 10 and 100. We have also been practising our Number Talks.<\/p>\n

We have been learning to take on the role of someone we aren’t in drama. We have to try and stay in character and answer questions based on what we think the people we are pretending to be would say.<\/p>\n

We used the K’nex to build different vehicles or modes of transport, we had a helicopter, plane, bike, car, train and a glider. We worked hard in our groups, we had to have good communication, work well as a team to help each other, we had to problem solve when our ideas didn’t always work and we had to adapt and change our plans based on this.<\/p>\n

We have been busy working on\u00a0 our crafts and items to sell at the Christmas Fayre and we can’t wait for you to see them next week.<\/p>\n
