Final Week Celebrations- ingredients lists.

Hi everybody!

It’s the final week…. we’ve made it! P4 have been a super hard working bunch and I can’t wait to see them all in P5 too!

As mentioned in the letter which came home today (Monday 24th) we are having a little party to celebrate the end of the year and to say good luck to one of our wonderful pupils Lynsey, who will be attending a different school in August. As part of new guidelines from East Ayrshire, we are no longer able to give pupils snacks/treats in school unless they are provided by the school canteen. As part of our celebration there will be treats such as crisps and popcorn. Could parents and guardians check the ingredients listed below on the treats to ensure that there are no ingredients which may cause their child some trouble.

Remember to complete the permission slip and return the letter to school by Wednesday!

Thank you for your support!

Vikingar Visit!

What a fantastic day P4 have had on our visit to Vikingar! We visited a Viking longhouse and learned all about life as a Viking. Then the God Odin spoke to us about 4 of the Viking gods. After that, some of our pupils were dressed up in Viking clothing and they put on a super play for us! Next we had a break for our lunch. We then visited the shop and bought some great souvenirs of our trip and we finished our day on the beach throwing stones into the water!

A big thank you to our parent helpers and a big well done to P4. You represented the school so well and did everyone proud! 🙂

Homework Challenges!

Wow!!!

What brilliant Viking longhouses the pupils have created. Each and every one is different and clearly lots of effort has been put into them.

A big thank you to all the adults for their support at home with the challenge, it is very much appreciated.

Over the next week, pupils will present their finished challenges to the class. I will upload the pupils’ photos when they have done this so keep an eye out for more fabulous longhouses!
