Primary 4 have had a great first full week in class and have settled well into their new routines.<\/p>\n

This week we have been working hard practising times tables and partitioning 3 digit numbers in numeracy. We started our new book study \u2018The Twits\u2019 by Roald Dahl in literacy and have been working on the reading strategies \u2018prior knowledge\u2019 and ‘main ideas’. We also worked together to create our \u2018Class Charter\u2019 for this session.<\/p>\n

We have been discussing our school value ‘Respect’ and the ways in which we show respect in school. We made a poster to go on display in the main corridor.<\/p>\n

Our PE days in P4 will be a\u00a0Monday<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Wednesday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Please make sure your child has indoor gym shoes and shorts\/leggings (labelled) in order to take part in P.E.\u00a0 These can be kept in school in a labelled bag. All jewellery (including earrings) must be removed before taking part in lessons.<\/p>\n
