Paper copies of the poems have been given to all pupils to learn at home and are also shown below.<\/p>\n<p>The Primary 4 poem is <strong>Soaks<\/strong> by Douglas Bell and was chosen by the pupils.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SOACKS<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>by Douglas Bell<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Plain soacks, fancy soacks,<br \/>\nMulti-coloured weans\u2019 soacks.<br \/>\nGuid soacks, din soacks,<br \/>\nFit for the bin soacks.<\/p>\n<p>Haill soacks, torn soacks,<br \/>\nCannae fin its neebor soacks.<br \/>\nMither\u2019s soacks, faither\u2019s soacks,<br \/>\nSisters\u2019 and brithers\u2019 soacks.<\/p>\n<p>Nike soacks, umbro soacks,<br \/>\nCaket wi muck soacks.<br \/>\nSoapy soacks, dreepin soacks,<br \/>\nWavin fae the line soacks.<\/p>\n<p>Holey soacks, schuil soacks,<br \/>\nRollin doon ma leg soacks.<br \/>\nSpottit soacks, strippit soacks,<br \/>\nKept aside ma drawers soacks.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Soacks by Douglas Bell\" width=\"474\" height=\"267\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/88Hg2EcLKiU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Pupils should learn their poem and be ready to present it to the class by next <strong>Wednesday 22th January<\/strong>.
