Coco is a half Shetland pony who lives with Ineke. He is chestnut with a flaxen mane. He likes to eat lots of food and Likits horse treats. He is 30 years old and a very nice pony. He is not very nice with the other ponies but he was super nice to our P3 class. Ineke was able to share lots of information about Coco.
Today we continued to learn about compasses and used them in the playground to find north, south, east and west. We also followed a series of directions in order to complete a journey.
We had great fun giving our peers directions to follow!
Homework
Learners have been given their spelling words as homework. Please make sure that homework jotters are brought to school, especially on a Friday.
Maths homework and reading books will be given out tomorrow.
Please make sure that your child has their PE kit with them on a Monday and a Thursday. Shorts and shoes are needed to take part in PE. Girls who come to school wearing dresses will need a t-shirt to change into as well.
Last week Ally, Myley, Laila and Eva were presented with a certificate at assembly for reaching the top of the chart 5 times and for working hard all week.
Lots of the learners in our class have received certificates at assembly and enjoy showing us when they come back to class.
Check back here on Friday for more updates on certificates!!
