Despite some drizzly conditions Primary 3\/4 thoroughly enjoyed their Autumn amble through the village!<\/p>\n

We focused on using our senses to describe what we could see, hear, smell, taste and feel along our walk.<\/p>\n

‘I smell delicious chips coming from the hub!’ Oliver<\/p>\n

‘I think I can smell soup!’ Wallace<\/p>\n

‘I can see bright orange leaves’ Molly<\/p>\n

‘I see my house!’ Lottie<\/p>\n

‘I can feel raindrops’ Illy<\/p>\n

‘I can smell the leaves of this green hedge’ Peyton<\/p>\n

‘I can feel the wet grass under my feet’ Finley.<\/p>\n

We also managed to sneak in a wee play at the park!<\/p>\n

Back in class<\/strong><\/p>\n

Back in school we have been learning the different phonemes that make the ‘ai’ sound (ai\/ay\/a-e\/a).<\/p>\n

We are learning to add on and take away multiples of ten and one hundred. (e.g. 125 + 50 or 1678 + 300). We have been singing away about not changing the units.<\/p>\n

We have used our senses to write descriptively and thoroughly enjoyed some music from Mrs MJ.<\/p>\n

Our Parents Evening is Thursday 9th of October. Please contact the school office if you have not received an appointment time yet.<\/p>\n

We finish up on Friday 10th of October for the October holidays, please note Mrs Meek will not be in this day and the class will be taken by Miss Smith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
