This week we have been getting to know Mrs Bell and learning our new class routines. We have been revising 3D shape and addition as well as writing all about someone special.

We made sundials as we have been learning about the sun and its place in the solar system. Unfortunately the weather meant we couldn’t track the sun for the whole day but we did get a sunny spell on Thursday afternoon where we marked the movements and made predictions.

Unfortunately didn’t manage to take any photographs this week but ask us what we have learned!

Welcome back pupils, parents and carers of Primary 3/4.

Mrs Bell and Mrs Meek are excited for a new year ahead and have been having fun getting to know our new pupils.

Some helpful information about our class-

• Mrs Bell teaches Monday and Tuesday
• Mrs Meek teaches Wednesday to Friday
• Mrs Tweedly will take the class on a Friday morning from 8.50am-10.30am
• Whole school assembly takes place on a Tuesday
• Our P.E days are Mondays and Fridays, please bring a change of shoes along with a pair of shorts. It’s helpful if jewellery is removed on these days.
• An update on homework will be given once we are all settled in.
