Literacy<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This week P2 have been learning the ‘y’ phoneme as in try, fly and cry.\u00a0 They have been learning that a noun is a person, place or thing with Miss Campbell and they also wrote a blurb for the back cover of their story books.<\/p>\n

Numeracy<\/h3>\n

P2 have been learning about division this week and sharing objects into equal groups.\u00a0 They have also been practising their times tables.<\/p>\n

The pupils started learning about Position, Shape and Movement and have been giving and following directions.<\/p>\n

Learning\u00a0Across the Curriculum<\/h3>\n

In Technologies they have been learning about different materials. Miss Campbell has set them a challenge to design and build a car for her teddy Chester. P2 enjoyed creating and labelling their designs with the materials they will need to build their car.<\/p>\n

P2 also put all their hockey skills to the test this week playing some games of hockey.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday we went out for a walk, looking for shapes in our environment and enjoyed a visit to the park too.<\/p>\n
