Literacy<\/h3>\n

This week P2 have been learning the ‘oa’ phoneme.\u00a0 They have been practising reading and writing ‘oa’ words.<\/p>\n

Numeracy<\/h3>\n

P2 were finishing off their work on place value this week and were partitioning numbers into 1s, 10s and 100s.<\/p>\n

Learning Across the Curriculum<\/h3>\n

In science pupils explored objects and how they were affected by different forces acting on them.\u00a0 They investigated how push, pull, twist, squash and stretch could change an object’s shape or speed.<\/p>\n

P2 also went out for a walk around Catrine\u00a0 and enjoyed some time at the play park.<\/p>\n
