Literacy<\/h3>\n

This week P2 have been revising the phonemes ‘oi’, ‘ow’ and ‘ou’.<\/p>\n

In writing we have started to create a book about our characters.\u00a0 This week we focussed on describing the characters and where they lived.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

Numeracy<\/h3>\n

This week we have been using arrays to help us multiply.\u00a0 P2 used arrays to write repeated addition and multiplication calculations.\u00a0 There was also lots of times table practise.<\/p>\n

We continued to work on identifying 3D shapes too.<\/p>\n

Learning across the Curriculum<\/h3>\n

Camembear visited us in class and told us about some different French foods. P2 didn’t think they would like the taste of snails! P2 also told Camembear about some Scottish foods they thought he might like.<\/p>\n

P2 have been reading Katie Morag<\/em> stories. They worked together this week to create a map of\u00a0 the Isle of Struay and included places they had read about in the story \u2018Katie Morag Delivers the Mail.\u2019\u00a0 We will add other places we discover as we read more Katie Morag<\/em>.<\/p>\n
