Literacy<\/h3>\n

This week P2 wrote some fantastic descriptions of fireworks.\u00a0 They used lots of colours and different adjectives to describe the sounds\u00a0 fireworks make and how they look.<\/p>\n

Our phoneme this week was ‘ea’ as in sea, tea and teacher.<\/p>\n

Numeracy<\/h3>\n

P2 have been working hard on their adding, partitioning numbers using whole-part models and then writing the number sentence they have made.\u00a0 They have also been practising their 2 times table.<\/p>\n

Learning Across the Curriculum<\/h3>\n

In science they have been learning about different organs inside their body and what they do.\u00a0 They\u00a0have also been learning how to say different body parts\u00a0 in French.<\/p>\n

This afternoon they discussed why poppies are a symbol of Remembrance Day and created their own pictures of poppy fields.<\/p>\n
