Literacy<\/h3>\n

This week P2 have been learning the ‘ay’ phoneme and practising their common words.\u00a0 For writing, they described a haunted house and used some super adjectives in their descriptions!<\/p>\n

Numeracy<\/h3>\n

P2 have been learning to estimate this week as well as practising\u00a0 counting in 2s to help them with the 2-times table. They also finished off their odd and even street display.<\/p>\n

Learning across the Curriculum<\/h3>\n

We finished off our topic on forces and learned that magnets have a north and south pole.\u00a0 We experimented and found that two north or south poles will repel each other but a north and south pole will attract each other.\u00a0 We also explored iron filings with our magnets and made some magnetic faces.<\/mark><\/p>\n
