Literacy<\/u><\/p>\n

This week P2 were learning the \u2018aw\u2019 phoneme, as in jaw, paw and draw.<\/p>\n

They have also been practising their sentence writing, making sure they have capital letters, finger spaces and full stops,<\/p>\n

Numeracy<\/u><\/p>\n

P2 finished off their work on time this week.\u00a0 They focussed on telling o\u2019clock and half past times on both analogue and digital clocks and converting from analogue to digital and vice versa.<\/p>\n

Learning across the Curriculum:<\/u><\/p>\n

In Social Studies they have been learning about Scottish produce and where in Scotland different things are farmed. They created a meal using Scottish foods and things grown in Scotland.<\/p>\n

For art they have been creating their own landscapes making sure objects in the foreground are larger and those in the background are smaller.<\/p>\n
