Pupils will have received their new word lists in their word list jotters. Our spell check from last week is also stuck into these jotters.<\/p>\n

Primary 1s are focussing on \/ch\/ this week, while P2s are looking at the magic e with the letter a (\/a_e\/).<\/p>\n

As always, please highlight the sound or use diacritical marking (click here<\/a> for a short video explaining this concept) to help with reading and spelling. Then choose one or more activities from your list to practise your words.<\/p>\n

In maths, Primary 1s have started looking at numbers to 20. We are focussing on number formation and counting this week. Please complete the worksheet in your homework folders and return it on Monday. Use a pencil and a paperclip to spin and practise saying the number.<\/p>\n
