This week we have started learning about sounds. We will be introduced to two new sounds each week, from the ‘Active Literacy’ programme. We began our learning with the ‘a’ and ‘t’ sound.<\/p>\n
Here is a link to the Jolly Phonics rhyme and action videos for each sound which could be used to support our learning at home. You could also begin to use the sound cards issued on parents night to practise each sound and begin to word build. We were amazed to discover that we can already build the word ‘at’ with the sounds we learned this week.<\/p>\n
