We\u2019ve looked at recognising numbers, counting and working out the missing numbers. We had lots of knowledge already and\u00a0 described adding\u00a0 as &#8220;putting things together&#8221; &#8220;combining&#8221; and &#8220;makes the number bigger&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>We used the spinners and animals to combine groups to find a total and also used the numicon to add. We played Hallowe&#8217;en games at PE, sung Halloween songs in Music and made some fantastic Hallowe&#8217;en crafts. We played games, danced and had a snack in the Primary 2 classroom. In our own classroom we had some spooky sensory activities, like making &#8216;<em>ice-screeeeam<\/em>&#8221; with foam and creepy crawlies and scented playdoh. We also got a chance to use a hammer and some nails in a pumpkin and worked together to crack them open and see what was inside!<\/p>\n<p>Here are some pictures, you might also find some more on the
