Primary 1 have come back ready for action as we continued our learning of the initial sounds. We worked hard this week on our formation of each letter and began to look at building some words with the sounds we have learned so far. You can use the card sent home on parents night to do this at home, too! group, or in a pattern (like on a dice) without counting them. This is a really useful skill which lots of us found very fun to practise. We have also been looking at missing numbers, with some of us building and writing numbers up to 20.
