{"id":2671,"date":"2025-04-28T14:30:05","date_gmt":"2025-04-28T13:30:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/primary120242025\/?p=2671"},"modified":"2025-04-24T14:33:48","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T13:33:48","slug":"literacy-homework-wk1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/primary120242025\/2025\/04\/28\/literacy-homework-wk1\/","title":{"rendered":"Literacy Homework Wk1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Literacy Homework (Week 1 of 4)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Big Talk Homework<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Twice a year, the children take part in our whole school &#8216;Big Talk Homework Challenge&#8217;.\u00a0 This is where your child gets the opportunity to prepare and present a talk to the class.\u00a0 The topic will change depending on the focus for that term.\u00a0 This term the class has chosen to talk about \u2018My Favourite Animal\u2019 to link in with our\u00a0 Living Things topic. At home, your child should prepare and practise their talk.<\/p>\n<p>Some ideas to include in their talk might be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facts about their favourite animal eg.
