It\u2019s been a lovely first week back after the holidays. The children have worked so hard. This week we learned the \u2018o\u2019 sound in literacy and we practised the number bond of 10 in maths. The number bonds of 10 are the addition calculations that make 10 like 5+5, 9+1, 4+6 etc. in class we refer to them as the \u2018best friends to make 10\u2019 and the children are super at identifying the correct pair of numbers.<\/p>\n
