As part of Maths Week Scotland we went on a Number Walk this afternoon. The children loved spotting numbers all around the village.

As part of Maths Week Scotland, we started our fortnightly Numeracy Homework. These will be issued on a Monday and due in the following Monday, so Autumn Leaves homework is due on Monday 3rd October.

Please find a copy of the homework in the Maths Scrapbook within the ‘School’ Book Bag. This bag should be brought into school daily and will be used to keep Maths Scrapbook, Spelling Sounds/words, books and any letters. We ask you not to keep anything else in these bags, eg snack/drinks. Also please check these regularly.

Please keep the ‘Home’ book bag at home to use when completing any homework tasks.

Please feel free to email if you have any questions.
Thanks again,
Mrs Ferguson

PE days will be Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Tuesday is walking day: Please make sure your child is wearing suitable clothes for walking around the village (footwear, jacket etc)
Thursday is indoor PE day: Please make sure your child has indoor gym shoes and shorts (labelled). These can be kept in school in a labelled bag. These will be sent home before holidays.
Thanks again,
Mrs Ferguson and Mrs Cook
