What an amazing time we have had for Health Week. First we tried some Karate.
Followed by some football with the Hexagol.
Then we tried a bit of boxing.
We ate some delicious fruit.
And we finished a fantastic week on Friday with our Sports Day down at the park.
We are now officially exhausted!
We have had a lovely sunny week in Primary One!
Today we enjoyed playing outside with the sand pit and water station.
In maths we have been working on Information handling and we have been learning to sort and collect information.
In literacy we have been revising our sounds and focusing on completing independent literacy activities in our special jotters.
Next week is Health Week. The children should come to school each day wearing shorts, t-shirts and trainers ready to complete their different sports and activities.
What a busy week we have had in Primary One! On Wednesday afternoon we had our party in the park. We listened to music, played and enjoyed the sunshine whilst eating yummy ice lollies as a special treat.

As it was world of work week we spent time thinking about different jobs and had great fun dressing up as fire fighters, doctors, nurses, and police officers.
In literacy this week we have been working hard making and writing words including learning our key words.
In maths we were learning about time and are experts at telling o’clock times using both analogue and digital clocks. We even made our own clocks using paper plates.
