Literacy
In Primary 3 we have been learning about up-levelling sentences.
For example:
Basic/Base sentence: The dragon flew down to his cave.
Uplevelled sentence: After a long flight, the tired dragon swooped down to his warm, cosy cave.

Floppy’s Phonics books will not be issued this year therefore it is important to read for enjoyment at home with your child each week where possible. Predicting, discussing characters, their choices, the setting, the plot, etc

Please complete the worksheet provided in your Maths Homework jotter and return to school on Thursday. Where possible, children should try to complete the answers/ calculations in their Maths Homework jotter marked with the date.

Homework wb13.01.2025 -ACTIVITY-Recognise-a-quarter
As this is January, our P3 topics will be Scots based (due to it being Burn’s Day on 25th January). Please practise the poem ‘The Crocodile’ below as often as you can. Pupils will be chosen to perform the poem, individually or in small groups, for the ‘Burn’s Bash’ at Assembly.
