Please take time on Thursday afternoon \/evening to visit our stalls and find out more information.\u00a0 Parents\/Carers will be asked to complete questionnaires and get information about a variety of curricular areas.<\/p>\n

These will include –<\/p>\n

Children\u2019s Glow Blogs –<\/span> please take time to look at your child’s blog and if you haven’t logged on before there will be teams of children to show you how.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n
Onthank On Time<\/span> – <\/span>we will share information on how we are doing with attendance rates and the number of children who arrive to school on time.\u00a0\u00a0 As a school we can offer support if children have high absence rates or are not arriving on time.\u00a0 Steven Swan is our full time Home Link Worker who works alongside Laura Gallagher, and\u00a0together we can look to support families.<\/span><\/h6>\n
Literacy and <\/span>Numeracy at Onthank<\/span> – children are working with staff to provide examples of new resources and explain how children progress.\u00a0 This session teachers are being trained in Active Literacy and Active Numeracy.\u00a0 ‘Number Talks’ happen in our classes everyday.\u00a0 Do you know about this?<\/span><\/h6>\n
Health and Wellbeing at Onthank – <\/span>w<\/span>e would like to explain how a restorative conversation and\u00a0meeting works and take a look at resources which promote internet safety and how we tackle bullying.\u00a0 Parents at Onthank are on our Respectful Relationships group and are working on how we address bullying.<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n
Onthank, On Task, \u00a0On Track – our reports have East Ayrshire Curriculum for Excellence Assessment Judgement Ratings.\u00a0 Staff and children will be able to explain what these tracking numbers mean.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n
Homework club<\/span> is not just for completing homework!\u00a0 If parents\/carers are unsure about an aspect of homework or would like to find out ways to help your child then\u00a0homework club is open to you everyday of the week!<\/span><\/h6>\n
