Please read the information below for an opportunity to participate in a 5 week Summer Programme of family cooking, Barista training, sports, fitness and wellbeing activities!<\/p>\n

Complete the form by Friday 24 @ 3pm<\/strong> if you would like to sign up.<\/p>\n

Ayrshire College are looking to run a 5 week Summer Programme that will run every day.\u00a0 <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

This programme will include FREE<\/span> Sports Camps and Masterclasses for all young people aged 5 \u2013 18 years within the local community and offer a full family Health & Wellbeing programme that is wider than sport.<\/i><\/b><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Families will have the opportunity to learn about front and back of house service in restaurants and will have the chance to study food hygiene<\/span>.\u00a0 Parents\/carers will have the opportunity to prepare a meal and serve to their invited family members in Ayrshire College restaurant \u2018The Salt and Barrel\u2019<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Participants will also get the opportunity to complete a Barista Certificate<\/span>.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Families will also have expert guidance from Hospitality Lecturers on how to prepare various dishes, and then receive recipe cards and a recipe box with ingredients they require to make the food dishes at home.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

While parents\/carers are learning about the Hospitality Sector the children from the family will be participating within the Sports and Fitness sessions that will be taking place in the College at the same time.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Ayrshire College would like to pilot this programme targeting the groups below:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Lone parent families.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Larger families (more than 4 in total in the home).<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Families where the mother\/father is under 25 years of age.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
