{"id":11623,"date":"2019-06-11T10:42:43","date_gmt":"2019-06-11T10:42:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/onthankpsmain2018\/?p=11623"},"modified":"2019-06-11T10:42:43","modified_gmt":"2019-06-11T10:42:43","slug":"p6-7-ambassadors-celebrate-kilmarnock-events","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/onthankpsmain2018\/2019\/06\/11\/p6-7-ambassadors-celebrate-kilmarnock-events\/","title":{"rendered":"P6\/7 Ambassadors @ Celebrate Kilmarnock Events"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Families,<\/p>\n<p>P6\/7 Dance Fest Ambassadors have been invited by East Ayrshire Council in collaboration with Celebrate Kilmarnock to perform at two local events to represent our school community.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Event 1<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Event: Community Celebration <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Date: Friday 14<sup>th<\/sup> June (this Friday)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Time: 2pm <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Venue: Celebrate Kilmarnock Shop (Kings Street, Kilmarnock)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Pupils will leave school after lunch at 1.15pm with Mr Swan and another member of staff and walk to Kings Street for their performance, after which they will return to school and continue with their weekly rehearsal until 4pm.<\/p>\n<p>Pupils will be in their school uniform.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Event 2<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Event: \u2018Anthems from Broadway &amp; Beyond\u2019 K \u2013 Fest Cabaret <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Date: Friday 26<sup>th<\/sup> July <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Time: 7pm <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Venue: New Laigh Kirk, Bank Street, Kilmarnock, KA1 1HA<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Pupils have been invited to unite with Loudoun Musical Society for this annual K-Fest Cabaret which launches a weekend of events for the local community to celebrate our town and the people in it.<\/p>\n<p>Pupils have been working on their repertoire with Mr Swan in their weekly Friday rehearsals and are very excited to perform for an audience of over 600 community members.<\/p>\n<p>Pupils are required to attend the Dress Rehearsal. Please see details below:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Date: Thursday 25<sup>th<\/sup> July<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Time: 7pm \u2013 9:30pm Dance Fest red\/white\/black costume with them for the Dress Rehearsal and
