As part of the class’ work with Mrs Irving today, P7Mc have designed and made their own sweetie bags. Jessica, Darren, Ellie and Liam’s designs were declared the 4 winning entries.
They also had to undertake a challenge where they had to complete a Christmas task while blindfolded.

P7 Parent Questions
We very much look forward to meeting you in person soon.
In Primary 7H, we have been making Snow Globe Christmas tree decorations. This was a very complicated process with a lot of materials including buttons, pipe cleaners, cups, bath salts and twine.
The twine creates a string to hang your lovely snow globe from your tree or you can use it as an ornament. We are selling our snow globes for £1.50 each and we have a stock of 60 so do not miss out.
We are sure you will agree, the end results are fantastic and we are all so pleased with our product!
P7Mc have been making “Reindeer Flannels” for their enterprising Christmas Craft this year. Each reindeer is made up of a brown face cloth wrapped carefully around a luxury bar of soap to create a head and ears. Each one has then been decorated to make it look like one of Santa’s reindeer.
Priced at £2.50 (to be paid through Parent Pay), we are sure these will make a welcome addition to any Christmas stocking. Unfortunately we only have a stock of 58 and when they’re gone, they’re gone!
Below are two links to videos we have been sent by Kilmarnock Academy giving you a flavour of the school. We will be having a look at these in class but we have posted the links here so you can share them with the adults that look after you at home.
P7Mc participated in a variety of activities for this year’s No Pens Wednesday. Working with Mrs Irving, they participated in challenges and games that made them think outside the box.
Thank you to Mrs Irving for organising these for us.
As part of our work on division we have drawn and used Social and Emotional Language to show how we feel about division. The yellows show those in the class who are comfortable with it and the blues those who feel uncomfortable. We are hoping to have a lot more yellows by the end of our unit of work on this.
