{"id":573,"date":"2019-03-13T16:06:35","date_gmt":"2019-03-13T16:06:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/onthankp5\/?p=573"},"modified":"2019-03-13T16:06:35","modified_gmt":"2019-03-13T16:06:35","slug":"p5i-directions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/onthankp5\/2019\/03\/13\/p5i-directions\/","title":{"rendered":"P5i Directions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Parents\/Carers<\/p>\n<p>A few pupils have been asking about their <strong>spelling<\/strong> <strong>homework<\/strong> saying they do not understand what to do.<\/p>\n<p>Children have to use their words in a drawing, \u00a0for example:<\/p>\n<p>They can draw a house but instead of lines for the doors and windows, they should \u00a0write their spelling words in that shape. Or draw a flower with their words as petals. They can be as creative as they like &#8211; as long as all words are spelled correctly. P5E have the same task so it will be interesting to see who\u00a0 has been the most creative. I&#8217;m biased, so I&#8217;m saying P5i \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Pupils have been map reading and learning about directions and co-ordinates. Today they plotted the route from the school front door at the office, up to our classroom.
