We pinned the nose on Rudolph, decorated a beautiful interactive tree, led Buddy the Elf to the finish line, played ‘Roll a Tree’ and created a P4K Christmas poster. Fun was had by all!

We had a very special visit from a Viking. We were able to ask lots of questions, see how coins were made and we even got to hold a sword and a shield.
Mrs Kilpatrick took on the Viking in a battle. We think Mrs Kilpatrick won! She was very brave.
What a year we have had in P3! We have worked so hard, we have been team players and we have shared in many new experiences.
We have made lots of memories in P3 and we are now ready to take on the challenge of P4!
One of our highlights was the trip to Heads of Ayr Farm Park. We proved that we could still have fun on a rainy day! We took too many photos to share but here are a few….
We are now learning the skills to assist in an emergency situation when someone is unconscious.
We can put someone in the Recovery Position and we know how to make a call for an ambulance.
P3 are studying the Vikings this term. We will be learning about all aspects of Viking life.
When we are enjoying learning about Viking clothes, armour, longboats, houses and much more we will be wearing our very own handmade Viking tunics.
Here we are being fashion designers!😀
We will all be making a Viking brooch. Here are some brooches from P3W.
P3 have started Heartstart training during Health and Wellbeing sessions.
This week the pupils learned how to assist a ‘Conscious Casualty’.
We watched a training dvd, discussed what we had learned and we participated in some role play scenarios.
We have loved studying the 1990’s. We have learned about music from this decade, popular toys, films, fashion, sporting achievements and much more!
Thanks to all the parents and carers who shared experiences with the children about growing up in the 90’s. We loved looking at some memorabilia too.
Mrs Saxelby was a huge ‘New Kids On The Block’ fan…probably their biggest fan!! She allowed Shaw to show the class some NKOTB memories…
Mollie told us that her Dad met Mr Blobby. He had a photo taken with Mr Blobby and had his face painted like Mr Blobby.
Other memorabilia included a Roger Rabbit toy belonging to Jaxon’s Dad as well as a games console. Ellie brought in a shark tooth which her Dad loved as he grew up in the 90’s and Owen showed us various music CDs.
We were all so proud of Blair today! He won an award for being the ‘Best Boy’ at his Anchor Boys last night.
Blair brought in his trophy to show us today! Well done Blair! We hope you enjoy moving up to the Company Section.
A super effort from everyone in P3W!
Can you guess what our 90’s egg are meant to be?
We have all had fun celebrating ‘World Book Day 2019’. We dressed up as a book character and we brought in our favourite book to show our friends.
Can you guess who we are?
