• Primary 3 are looking for donations of books suitable for children of any age  so they can participate in the, “Look for a book” reading craze.  If you are having a book clear out we’d be more than happy to take them. Books can be handed in to Mrs McCall.

While Mrs McCall was out with her dog recently she found a book and brought it in to class . It was part of the craze “ Look for a book “ where you hide a book you have finished with and hide it somewhere for another child to find and enjoy. We thought the kids in primary 3 would like to join in this worthwhile reading craze but before we can start we need books! If you have any books your child has finished with at home we’d love to have them so we can have fun . Look for a book basically involves the child going out for a walk with a parent / guardian and hiding a book for another child to find . If you are on Facebook there is a page called “Look for a book – Kilmarnock “ and that would give you an idea of what happens. I’m hoping we will get enough books to get started soon.

Today the Lions group has been busy learning all about the Jewish festival called Sukkot. They have been using their  STEM skills to design the shelter. 

There is a brand new lost jumper (age 7/8) in P3M at the moment and it looks like it has only been worn once of twice. I have been asking the class now for days who it belongs to with nobody claiming it. It is definitely a P3M jumper as it has a good work sticker on it from me. If nobody claims it by the end of the week it will go down to lost property. Unfortunately it has no name on it . Can you please ensure you put names on all clothes ?

Hopefully the jumper will go home soon!
