This song from yesterday teaches you that there are &#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">60 seconds in 1 minute<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">60 minutes in 1 Hour<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/gEStq1e1Qrc\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/gEStq1e1Qrc<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966\">Watch this \u2018Round The Clock\u2019 about 1 minute-<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/teach\/class-clips-video\/maths-ks1-ks2-ho-long-is-one-minute\/zfk3cqt\">https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/teach\/class-clips-video\/maths-ks1-ks2-ho-long-is-one-minute\/zfk3cqt<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008080\">What am I going to do?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">I would like you to have fun estimating and recording how many things you can do in 1 minute.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008080\">What sort of things?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">You could find out things like &#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">How many words can I write in 1 minute?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">How many star jumps can I do in 1 minute?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">How much can I draw in 1 Minute?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">How many times can I jump up and down in 1 minute?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">So many ideas&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008080\">How do I record my results?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">You could write them down the way I showed you yesterday, or if you are feeling extra smart today you could make a short video \u00a0like the kids in &#8216;Round The Clock?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Don&#8217;t forget to post your work on your blog.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Literacy\/science\/health and wellbeing<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\">Over the past few week you have been learning all about growing and life cycles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\">Yesterday you learned about <strong>metamorphosis.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080\"><strong>Metamorphosis<\/strong> means when something changes from one thing to something totally different.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\">Frogs and Butterflies start their lives looking totally different from the adult. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\">Frogs hatch out as <strong>tadpoles<\/strong> and Butterflies hatch out as <strong>caterpillars<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080\">It&#8217;s quite amazing if you think about it!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\">That is why the Butterfly got so puzzled in yesterday&#8217;s story.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966\">Listen to this song about growing up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/F5DVGXBosIA\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/F5DVGXBosIA<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966\">If you watch this short film called, &#8216;Growing Up&#8217; you will have a good laugh at the end.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/szsugbups90\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/szsugbups90<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399\">You have grown and changed a lot since you were born. I would like you to do some investigation into how you have grown and changed since you were a baby.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">I would like you to ask your &#8216;grown up&#8217; to help you find some photos and videos of you as a baby and a toddler.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Have a look at them and think about how much you have changed.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">What can you do now that you couldn&#8217;t do then?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">What is different about how you look now?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">You might want to write down the changes from\u00a0<strong>&#8216;Baby me&#8217;<\/strong>\u00a0to &#8216;<strong>Me now&#8217;<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #008000\">I have done one for my son Calum-<\/span><\/h1>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #008080\">Baby Calum<\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #008080\">Calum in P2<\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">P2 Calum can now-<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">walk<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">talk<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">read and write<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">do lots of things for himself like eating, getting dressed, going to school&#8230;&#8230;.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Calum looks different from baby Calum. He is &#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Taller\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">His face has changed<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">He has more hair<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">His legs and arms are longer<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">He looks like a boy not a baby<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">I&#8217;m looking forward to reading about all of the things you notice about how you have changed and grown since you were born.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000\">In the &#8216;Growing up&#8217; film the tiny acorn grew into an enormous tree.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000\">It might be fun to think about what you will look like when you grow up. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000\">What changes will have happened then? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000\">What are you looking forward to being able to do?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966\">You could draw a picture of yourself as a &#8216;grown up&#8217; and add some information about what you think you will be able to do by then.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">Here&#8217;s a surprise for you.
