We are looking at numbers to 1000 today in preparation for rounding to the nearest 10\/100. It is also a catch up day to complete anything you missed this week.<\/h2>\n

Okay, yesterday some of you saw \u201cup and down\u201d sums for the first time, others had tried them before.\u00a0 Please don\u2019t panic.\u00a0 There is a sheet attached explaining how to do them again, with regrouping.\u00a0 Feel free to print it if you need it.\u00a0 Otherwise go ahead and try the worksheet (there are actually 3 pages to it but don’t feel you need to do them all) before seeing how your mental agility is with this online quiz <\/strong>where you can choose how hard the quiz is.\u00a0 Have fun.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Red and Blue are going to try some addition to 100 with grouping.\u00a0 Now don\u2019t panic.\u00a0 If you feel you are not ready for it I have attached a sheet without grouping.\u00a0 If you feel ready to give it a go, then watch the video first then attempt the sheet.\u00a0 We all learn at different speeds so don\u2019t feel pressured into trying the carrying sums.\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

In the video the teacher draws the extra \u201cten\u201d at the top of the sum.\u00a0 However we teach you to put it below the line.\u00a0 Watch both videos before starting any sheets.<\/span><\/h2>\n
