Your teachers would like to remind you that you should try to access Bug Club and read regularly throughout the week.
Ensure that you find the Bugs hidden on some of the pages and that their eyes close once you’ve finished answering the questions for your book.
Library books and bedtime stories also count towards your reading each week, so settle down and get page turning. 😊
LITERACY
– Log into Bug Club and read a book.
– Watch this video.
– Try to sound out the letters you need to make these words with the
“ph” sound in them. Write them 3 times in your jotter.

CHALLENGE
– Lots of “wh” words help us to ask questions. Choose two of these “wh” words to write your own questions in your jotter. Remember to use a question mark? at the end instead of a full stop.

– Tell your Homework Buddy:
– what makes any number ODD or EVEN.
(Homework Buddies, any of the following types of answer are acceptable. Counting in twos. You miss a number then say a number pattern. It’s a pattern. Even numbers all have buddies, Odd numbers have an odd one out. All doubles are Even numbers.)
– Say all the EVEN numbers from zero up to 20.
– Say all the ODD numbers from zero up to 20.

We’ve been making lots of patterns in class. Have a try at making different lines on the blank page of your jotter. We’ll do an art activity next week so get practising.
