Fragile X Syndrome Awareness

I wonder if anyone noticed last night the Kilmarnock Viaduct was lit up blue…….but do you know why?

We have permission from one of our parents to share these images taken on Monday 10th October to help raise awareness for her son and any others who have Fragile X Syndrome.

Fragile X Syndrome (FXS) is a genetic condition, affecting around 1 in 4000 males and 1 in 6000 females.

It can cause a wide range of difficulties with learning, as well as social, language, attentional, emotional, and behavioural problems.

Big thanks to East Ayrshire Council for fulfilling our parents request to light up the viaduct and help raise awareness.

Halloween Party

🎃 Our Halloween Parties will take place on Friday 28th October 🎃.

All children are welcome to dress up, however we please ask that children do not wear any scary masks as this can frighten other children.

If your child does not attend on this day, they are welcome to dress up throughout the week and we will be providing Halloween experiences throughout the whole week so that no-one misses out.
