Wednesday 25th January 2023 is Burns Day and all children are welcome to wear tartan to celebrate ’Rabbie Burns’ whilst having opportunities to explore the history of our national poet.

Please see the attached information as changes have been made due to the Industrial Action Strikes by School Staff on Monday 23rd January therefore we have changed dates/times for some of the groups.

Final Dates for East Ayrshire Pre-School Flu Vaccinations.

Did you miss or were unable to attend for your child’s flu vaccine (usually a painless nasal spray)? For pre-school children ONLY, aged 2-5 years (must be 2 on 01/09/22) there will be 2 final opportunities to attend. This is also open to any children deferred from school.

Saturday 14th Jan 2023-The Galleon Centre, Titchfield St, Kilmarnock, KA1 1QY. A drop-in clinic between 9am and 2pm.

Sunday 15th Jan 2023-The Boswell Centre, Well Rd, Auchinleck, KA18 2LA. A drop-in clinic between 9am and 2pm.

⭐️School Registration⭐️

Primary 1 School Registration begins today online (please see the link below ⬇️) for those children eligible to start in August 2023.

Children who are five years of age between 1 March 2023 and 29 February 2024, and whose parents wish them to attend school, should be registered for education during the week commencing Monday 9 January 2023 until Friday 13 January 2023.

You will require to have a Customer Account to complete your online School enrolment/Primary 1 registration form.

To complete the online registration you will require to upload:

A copy of your child’s birth certificate
two proofs of your residency within the catchment area, for example, Council Tax Notice and utility bill.

Should you require a copy of your child’s birth certificate for registration, this can be obtained at Certificates.Scot.

You must register your child in only one school, either the denominational or non-denominational school for your catchment area.

If you are unable to register online then please phone your local school who will assist you to register your child.

⭐️Parent/Carer Information⭐️

Our centre will close to ALL children on Friday 23rd December 2022 and will reopen to term time children on Monday 9th January 2023.

The centre will re-open on Wednesday 4th January 2023 to those children who attend Mornings, Afternoons or 8am-6pm only.

We were unable to hold any stay and play sessions in December due to the ongoing rise in viruses and through following public health guidance we wanted to ensure we adhered to helping minimise further spread.

We look forward to welcoming those able to attend in January.

Please note only 1 adult per child as this is an indoor visit.

🌟Christmas Jumper Days🌟

Every Friday in December we will be welcoming everyone to wear their Christmas Jumpers/Christmas Clothing to nursery on the build up to Christmas.

Please note: Christmas clothing can be worn any day of the week by any child, especially for those children who may not attend on a Friday.
