The centre will be closed to ALL children on Monday 1st & Monday 8th May due to local holidays.

The centre will also be closed to term time children only on Friday 26th & Monday 29th May. (Those children who attend the centre between 8.40am-9am/2.40pm-3pm).

The centre will remain open on the Friday/Monday to all others.

The centre will be closed to ALL children on Tuesday 30th May due to an In-service day for Staff.

The centre will re-open on Wednesday 31st May to all children.

Dear Parents/Carers,

As you may be aware we are moving to a new School App called Safer Schools, which is now live.

We have been awaiting the Parents/Carers Code which we have now been notified of and it is being emailed out to all parents/carers today.

Please see the attached letter above which gives useful hints and tips for downloading and logging into the new app.

We would strongly recommend all parents/carers download this app onto their phone as a means of communication between the centre and our parents. The updates are not only from Onthank Ecc, but can also come centrally from East Ayrshire Council which is information we do not always share on Facebook, Glow or email so the App ensures you get direct contact from us through ensuring you have push notifications enabled.

We would like to say a big Thank You to Lucy & her Dad Bob for bringing in two very special visitors this morning.

All of the children were very excited to have a visit from these baby Lambs who are only 2 days old! 🐑

The Easter Holidays are fast approaching….

From Monday 3rd April until Friday 14th April the centre will be CLOSED to all term time children.

(A little reminder that is those children who attend the centre between 8.40am-9am/2.40pm-3pm daily). We look forward to welcoming back all term time children on Monday 17th April.

The centre will remain OPEN to all other children during this time, however the centre will be CLOSED to all children on Friday 7th & Monday 10th April for the Easter Weekend. 🐣🐰

Due to several complaints made by parents we are issuing this safety notice to all parents/carers regarding the car park.

Please ensure you are always parking within an outlined parking space as the children’s safety is our number one priority.

At this time we must remind everyone that it is an East Ayrshire Council carpark and therefore those accessing Onthank Primary and Mount Carmel Primary may also be using the car park at key times making it busy and difficult to park.

All we ask is that everyone is considerate of one another and we do our best to keep the children safe when walking through the car park.

❗️Also please note on Wednesday 22nd March there will be no Lollipop person available❗️

🔴Can we please ask that if your child requires to have their nappy changed that you please provide nappies & wipes within your child’s bag along with a change of clothes.

🟡Unfortunately we do not have the resources available to be able to provide those for the children.

🟢As the wet weather is continuing can all parents/carers please continue to send in outdoor suits and wellies along with a change of clothes for your child to accommodate outdoor learning.

🔵 These items can be left in a bag on your child’s bag for convenience.

🟠Can all children please have at least one change of clothes within their bag at all times as we unfortunately do not have enough clothing/underwear for the large number of children we have accessing the centre.
