Today we all say farewell and wish lots of luck to our Practitioner Paula who for the last few years has been the keyworker of the Pink Group and Ladybirds.
Paula is moving to Darvel ECC to take on a practitioner role closer to home.
We will miss Paula’s infectious energy, love for singing and the positive relationships she has built with staff, children and families during her time at Onthank Ecc.
We wish her the very best at her new Early Childhood Centre. 🥳
We would like to make you aware that all parents/carers will receive a letter next week stating your child’s new hours/session allocation for August 2021-2022.
We wanted to make all Parents and Carer’s aware that Jennifer our Depute Manager has decided to retire August 13th 2021.
After 22 years of service to Onthank Early Childhood Centre there are no words to truly express how much the staff team, children and families will miss her and we can not thank her enough for all her support, guidance, knowledge and skills she has brought us as a Senior and now Depute.
Friday 25th June will be the last day many of the children will see Jennifer as they stop for the summer holidays but we wanted to take the opportunity to say we thankfully have her a little longer as she will continue to run the nursery over the summer period.
I am sure you will all join us in wishing Jennifer the very best in her well deserved retirement. 🥳
Please see the attached link which gives contact details for our Community Practitioner Gillian and outlines the areas she or others within her team can offer support for within your own home. Please do not hesistate to contact Gillian if you have any questions or concerns you wish to discuss and she will be happy to offer support.
Please find attached a copy of the Scottish Government Letter issued to all establishments and parents/carers regarding end of term celebrations.
We apologise for any inconvenience and sadness this may cause, we fully understand how disappointing this news can be, however we have to follow guidance that is issued to us and want to ensure the safety of all our children, families and staff.
