The morning Red Group have been very busy this week as we continue to learn more about the different jobs that people do to help us. This week we learned more about doctors, nurses and ambulances. The children developed their fine motor skills through scissor control and fine line drawing. We have also used our kind hands as we gave Bob the Centre’s Bearded Dragon a bath. It was great fun looking at the animals again and even getting to feel what a dragon’s skin felt like.
The Red Group PM had a great time in the garden experimenting with sound and making their own music.
The Red Group PM have been experimenting in the Transient Art area. The children enjoyed making their faces with various objects and designing patterns and pictures with lots of bright and interesting bits and pieces. Well done Red Group!
The Red Group have been using their fine motor skills to make play dough which then helped us with our counting skills as we decorated our cakes with candles. We have also been looking at patterns and identifying what each pattern is… especially on the soles of our shoes.
The Red Group have been really busy making spiders to decorate the playroom floor with. We have been painting, gluing and threading and working really hard. We have enjoyed making stronger friendships with all of our friends.

This week is Maths week so the children in the Red group have been enjoying Sorting and matching coloured pictures that are ‘big’ and ‘small’. They also then worked together in problem solving as they figured out who was the biggest and who was the smallest in the group.
The Red Group have participated in their sponsored bounce this week along with enjoying their first Bookbug session.
The Red Group Am have been exploring their emotions.
The Red Group enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Bello Luca. It was such a lovely afternoon the children chose to sit outside and enjoy their snack. A very big thank you to Emmeline for her hospitality, the children had a great afternoon as did the staff!
The Red Group Pm have been busy making play dough. They decided as a group to make yellow and black play dough and use it to make birthday cakes.
